DESCRIPTION:Il Protagonista de terzo concerto di CastelCello è il noto violoncellista tedesco Alexander Hülsoff.\nPresenta un programma che collega Bach ad alcuni rari ascolti del violoncello contemporaneo come la prima suite di Benjamin Britten o Thrinos del compositore inglese John Tavernier e infine Creeper\, un recentissimo brano del compositore sudtirolese Eduard Demetz.\nCreeper\, parola che in inglese significa „rampicante“ è un brano commissionato dal Suedtiroler Kuenstlerbund per violocello ed elettronica. La voce del violoncello viene seguita dalla riproduzione registrata di sé stessa\, intrecciando un dialogo che si alimenta dalla voce reale dello strumento. L’intensa attività solistica lo vede esibirsi su prestigiosi palcoscenici internazionali\, quali Teatro alla Scala di Milano\, Konzerthaus di Vienna\, Muziekgebouw di Amsterdam\, Philharmonie di Berlino\, per citarne alcuni\, e con orchestre\, quali – tra le altre – Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala\, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino\, Orchestra Nazionale della RAI\, SWR Radio Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart e RSO Radio Symphonie Orchester Wien. Ha collaborato con direttori d’orchestra quali Giuseppe Sinopoli\, Susanna Mallki\, Luciano Berio\, Peter Rundel\, Johannes Kalitzke. Si è perfezionato con violoncellisti del calibro di Anner Bijlsma\, Mario Brunello\, David Geringas e Mstislav Rostropovich. Studia inoltre composizione con Salvatore Sciarrino. Nel 1993 è tra i fondatori del Quartetto Prometeo\, formazione cameristica di fama internazionale\, vincitore di numerosi premi (Prague Spring\, ARD Münich\, Bordeaux) e insignito del “Leone d’argento” alla carriera alla Biennale Musica di Venezia 2012.\nDillon è inoltre membro stabile dell’Ensemble Alter Ego regolarmente invitato nei maggiori festival di musica contemporanea in tutto il mondo.\nHa inciso per le etichette SONY\, ECM\, Kairos\, Ricordi\, Stradivarius\, Die Schachtel\, Mode e Touch. As a soloist he has performed on prestigious concert stages (Konzerthaus in Vienna\, Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam\, Berlin Philharmonie and many others)\, and with orchestras such as the Italian National Radio Orchestra (RAI)\, the SWR Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Vienna\, among others. He has been attending masterclasses with some top level cellists such as Anner Bijlsma\, Mario Brunello\, David Geringas and Mstislav Rostropovich\, thereafter studying composition with Salvatore Sciarrino.\nIn 1993 he was one of the founders of the Quartetto Prometeo\, a chamber group of international acclaim and winner of numerous prizes (Prague Spring\, ARD Munich\, Bordeaux)\, also honoured with the Leone d’Argento Award of the Biennale Musica of Venice on 2012. Die Künstler begannen\, mit verschiedenen Musikstilen zu experimentieren und kreierten so ihren eigenen\, unverkennbaren Stil – eine Mischung aus Tiroler Volksmusik\, Jazz- und Dixie-Elementen sowie Einflüssen von Volksmusik außerhalb Österreichs. So werden Jazz Standards in den Volksmusiksound adaptiert und Tiroler Traditionelles in ein jazziges Kleid gehüllt. Mittlerweile wurde der zweite Tonträger produziert\, der durch Eigenkompositionen im einzigartigen\, unverwechselbaren Sound besticht.\nEs zeugt von der harmonischen Atmosphäre innerhalb der Gruppe\, dass sie seit ihrer Gründung in der gleichen Besetzung musiziert. Bemerkenswert ist außerdem\, dass der Altersunterschied innerhalb der Band bei 25 Jahren liegt. Die Vorlieben der Musiker sind Auftritte bei Straßenfesten\, Dorf- bzw. Paganini” di Genova col massimo dei voti Giovanni Scaglione si è avviato ad una brillante carriera solistica e cameristica.\nNel 2001 diventa membro del Sestetto Boccherini vincendo un’audizione indetta dal C.I.D.I.M. e nel 2002 entra a far parte del Quartetto di Cremona\, formazione che si è imposta negli anni come una delle migliori realtà a livello internazionale\, ospite delle principali istituzioni concertistiche mondiali.\nSi dedica assiduamente anche al repertorio per violoncello solo e si è esibito recentemente in diretta radiofonica dal Quirinale\, per la Società Filarmonica di Trento\, la Società del Quartetto di Milano e molte altre.\nAll’attività concertistica affianca quella didattica presso l’Accademia Stauffer di Cremona\, e di violoncello presso il “Master for Strings” a Genova.\n—\nGiovanni Scaglione hat sein Studium am Konservatorium “N. Paganini” von Genua mit Höchstnote abgeschlossen und sofort eine glänzende Karriere als Solist und Kammermusiker angetreten. \nIm Jahr 2001 gewinnt er eine Audition des C.I.D.I.M. und wird Mitglied des Sestetto Boccherini. 2002 tritt er dem Quartetto di Cremona bei\, das sich im Laufe der Jahre als eines der besten und international bekanntesten Ensembles behaupten kann und bei den bedeutendsten Konzertfestspielen der Welt zu Gast ist. \nEr widmet sich auch eingehend dem Repertoire für Cello solo. Kürzlich ist er für die Radiosendung des Quirinals live aufgetreten. Er spielt für die Società Filarmonica von Trient\, die Società del Quartetto von Mailand und für viele andere musikalischen Institutionen. \nNeben der Konzerttätigkeit lehrt er Didaktik an der Accademia Stauffer von Cremona und Cello am “Master for Strings” von Genua.

Molti altri compositori contemporanei hanno scritto per lei\, tra cui Valentin Silvestrov\, Arvo Pärt\, Tõnu Kõrvits e molti altri.\n—\nAnja Lechner war die Schülerin von international berühmten Cellisten\, wie Heinrich Schiff und János Starker. Von 1991 bis 2009 war sie Mitglied des Rosamunde Quartetts\, mit dem sie preisgekrönte Aufnahmen für ECM Records eingespielt und an den bedeutendsten internationalen Festspielen teilgenommen hat. \nSie kann auf eine interessante Karriere als Solistin und Kammermusikerin zurückblicken. Ihre Fähigkeiten beschränken sich jedoch nicht nur auf das klassische Repertoire.
